The best Latvian jazz-funk band “Very Cool People” is performing in summer music festivals including Saulkrasti Jazz!

“Very Cool People” is a jazz-funk, fusion band founded in Riga, Latvia by guitarist Elvijs Grafcovs. It is rooted in jazz and funk while incorporating elements from rock and hip-hop thus creating modern and flavourful music.

In this concert the grand concert programme of “Funkology” will be performed with the help of Funkology guests: Ralfs Eilands, Kristīne Prauliņa, Aija Vītoliņa, Dinara Rudan, Evilena Protektore, Oskars Stolse-Seperovs, Ritvars Garoza, Laura Rozenberga, Kristaps Lubovs, Oskars Ozoliņš and of course the members of “Very Cool People”. The band is excited about the opportunity to perform with such a vast line-up. The programme will include the most exciting compositions from “Funkology”.

“Very Cool People” have created two studio albums: “Very Cool People” (2009) and “Cruising in the Trolley” (2012).
